Forum: JRuby JRuby in GSoC updates

Announcement (2017-05-07): www.ruby-forum.com is now read-only since I unfortunately do not have the time to support and maintain the forum any more. Please see rubyonrails.org/community and ruby-lang.org/en/community for other Rails- und Ruby-related community platforms.

Ok, so RubyCentral didn't get into GSoC. That means you'll want to apply
through Codehaus or Rails as a student/mentor.

Set up a profile here: http://socghop.appspot.com/

And then click the "Apply to be a Mentor" link to apply as a mentor in
either organizations.

JRuby ideas page is here:
http://kenai.com/projects/jruby/pages/GSoC_2009

The Rails ideas page is here:
http://wiki.rubyonrails.org/gsoc/2009/ideas

The Rails and Codehaus pages just link back to JRuby's wiki.

I'd love to see more ideas, more mentors, and more students! Jump right
in!
