Singular map.resource problem

map.resources :entries
map.resource :home

in entries show view
<%= link_to ‘ca’, home_path(2) %>

it has a error:
You have a nil object when you didn’t expect it!
The error occurred while evaluating nil.to_sym

so, what’s going go here?

With a singular resource no id is required for show.

<%= link_to ‘ca’, home_path %>

If you need to pass parameters a hash will work.

<%= link_to ‘ca’, home_path(:id => 2) %>
