Forum: GHDL GTKWave

Working with GHDL and GTKWave is fine.  Once I get the waveforms on the
screen in an order that makes sense how do I save that for the next time
I enter GTKWave?  What are export VCD and LXT files?  Regards Ian.

Regarding saving the setup...
 From gtkwave's File menu you can "Save As" the waveform setup file.
Next time, you can pass the filename to gtkwave to automatically restore
the setup.

The syntax is:
gtkwave vcdfilename setupfilename
