Installing gems in a batch file

Hi,

I’m trying to write a batch file to install all the external libraries
of ruby in the computers of my company but after the first command gem
install… the batch ends…

echo *********** FireWatir
gem install FireWatir\firewatir-1.1.gem
echo *********** Watir
gem install Watir\watir-1.5.3.gem
…

Do you know why??

You should use the call command in a batch file to continue on to the
next
program.
to give an example test.bat file

call ri ‘String’
call ri ‘Fixnum’
call type test.bat
