Forum: Rails Spinoffs (closed, excessive spam) PNG + IE7 Problem

Hello people,

I'm using Effect.Appear to make a div visible on a webpage. I'm using
a PNG with transparencies and when I call him to appear , while
loading the transparent area turns fat black but just when loading
after the call object.appear

Any clue in how to solve it?

Does it help to explicitly give the div's container a background color? 
I
ran into issues with opacity with fade/appear when I didn't do that.
